Belinda Underwood - Greenspace
This is a jazzy collection of ballads and blues starting with "Bass Blues". Phil Baker (b), Benny Green (p) and Martin Zarzar (d) form the core trio behind her. Belinda wrote half of the dozen selections. We liked the romantic pulse of "Estate" with Belinda singing and Melissa Underwood shadowing on sax. We also dug the swinging blues on "Polar Blue".
